Raimondi Notched Trowels
It is fundamental to properly apply adhesive with the correct notched trowel using the “back-buttering” technique. When spreading the tile adhesive with a slanted ridge, the ridge overlaps and collapses to provide superior adhesive coverage and reduces any air pockets occurring under the tile/slab.
The absence of air under the tile improves the transmission of heat in case of underfloor heating and reduces the chance of cracking.
